No jobs will run when an accidental space is added to the catalog path in backup exec 2012. Jobs fail with : 0x84d9 - 0x 84d9 (34009)

Error:

Backups Fail with Error:0x84d9 - 0x 84d9 (34009) Other errors. The catalogs folder path contains an incorrect space in it.

Solution:

Edit the catalogs path in the Backup Exec UI, inspect the path for wrong characters and spaces, then correct the path so it is valid.
